Methods: The statistical population of this study was all the athletes using fitness clubs in Kermanshah (N = 20000). The sample was 376 people using the Cochran formula. To collect data, a researcher-made questionnaire on Attitude about the use of supplementary exercise was used and the media literacy questionnaire was used by Solhi et al. (1394) and their reliability was obtained in a preliminary study (0.78, 0.76), respectively. Data were analyzed using SPSS software. Results: The results of this study showed that media literacy and its components included knowledge of media management; critical thinking and media analysis have a positive and significant relationship with the attitude toward sport supplementation. Conclusion:The findings of this study indicate the importance of the correct information role for correct use of supplements and preventing the arbitrary use of supplements. Therefore, the high level of media literacy in a society can promote the health, vitality and vitality of the community.
