Background and objective: Making accessible knowledge and information and attention to health information seeking can increase level of health literacy and provide level of health among people in society. This study aimed to information seeking of health literacy among student of Razi university of Kermanshah. Methods: This is applied-Survey study. Statistical population includes all students from Razi University of Kermanshah that 374 of them selected based on Morgan's sample table. We use self-questionnaire to collect and use SPSS to analysis data. Results: Findings show that Students of Razi University worked out health literacy information seeking with the aim of "getting information about methods treatment of ", "getting information about disease ", "getting information about Prevention of disease" and "their health status". Also we funded that specialist and doctor, books, TV, websites and Telegram (social network) with highest average recognized as most important health information channels. Conclusion: According to positive effecting of health information resources and channels on students' health literacy improvement, we can help to increase of health literacy level's and health status levels of people by educating of information resource searching and support of their information seeking. Background and objective: Health literacy represents an individual's capacity to acquire, interpret and understand the information necessary for the required services and make proper decisions in the field of health. Health literacy includes a set of skills reading, listening, analysis, decision-making and the ability to apply these skills in health situations that do not necessarily lead to years of schooling or public reading ability. Present study is aimed to determine the level of health literacy among medical and dental students in university of science in Rafsanjan.
Methods:this is a measurement study. A number of 282medical and dental students I university of science in Rafsanjan were studied. To collect data the questioner of health literacy was applied which had been designed and psychometric by Montezari and et al (HELIA). And then data was analyzed.
Results: The findings showed that mean and standard deviation of dentistry students (22.88 ± 3.49) years and mean and standard deviation of medical students were (22.16±2.5) years. Independent t-test did not show a significant difference between the mean age of medical students and dentistry students (p=0.742). In evaluating the dimensions of health literacy among dental and medical students of Rafsanjan University of Medical Sciences The highest mean of health literacy dimensions in both fields related to the decision-making and behavioral dimension and the lowest mean in the field of dentistry was related to the assessment dimension (14.45 ± 2.46) and in the reading-related medicine category (14.99±3/00).
Conclusion: findings suggested that the medical students have obtained higher average scores than dental student in term of health literacy. In aspects of health literacy highest average in both disciplines related to the decision-making and behavior related to the assessment and the lowest in dentistry and medicine are related to reading.

Background and objective: Health literacy is defined as ‘one’s capacity to understand and interpret the basic health information and services needed to make appropriate health decisions’. In addition, those with insufficient health literacy are less likely to understand the written and oral information presented by health specialists. Hence, insufficient health literacy is considered a global threat nowadays, the present study aimed to investigate the health literacy status among the visitors to the specialized clinics based in Kermanshah, Iran, in 2016. Methods:The current study was a descriptive cross-sectional study. To collect the required data, the valid and reliable test of functional health literacy in adults (TOFHFLA) was employed. After data collection, the data were entered into the SPSS Statistics 16 Software. In addition, for data analysis, the descriptive statistics and the statistical tests of analysis of variance (ANOVA), Independent t-test and regression analysis were used. Results: The mean score of health literacy among the subjects under study was 51.93 ±6.31. Further, the results revealed that the relationship between health literacy and each of the variables of education (P<0.05), Residence area (P<0.05), Household dimension (P<0.05) were significant and age (p=1.02), marital status (p=6.31), gender (p=0.5) and occupation (p=6.31) were not significant. The results revealed that the relationship between health literacy and each of the variables of age (p=1.02), marital status (p=6.31), gender (p=0.5) and occupation (p=6.31) were not significant. Conclusion: This study showed that average health literacy in the population is estimated to be average. Recommended with changes at the macro level of society in terms of education and research increased health literacy. Paper Type:Research Article.

Background and objective: cardiopulmonary resuscitation is a critical process to save the lives of patients which can be more successful by training people. With regard to the role of teachers in education, this study aimed to compare the effect of cardiopulmonary resuscitation introductory lectures on knowledge of multimedia and primary school teachers was conducted in Bushehr in 2015. Methods:In this Randomized educational trial training, schools with the method of available and randomly were divided in two groups of multimedia and lectures. The sample consisted of 100 teachers of elementary schools in Bushehr. The pretest in two groups was conducted and after one month of intervention, the post-test (immediately and a month later) was conducted. Data were analyzed with using independent t test , t test, Fisher's exact test, Mann-Whitney and ANOVA. Results: The results showed that average score of knowledge in each group from before up to after training increased (p=0.111). The results showed, significant differences before of intervention, in knowledge score in two groups were not observed (p = 0.134). Comparing of the change in the mean knowledge score between the two groups on post-test scores, showed no significant difference (p = 0.212). Conclusion: Although the results showed the effectiveness of teaching and similar efficacy in two groups of multimedia and lectures but in situations where there is no possibility of lectures can be used multimedia techniques. Background and objective: The health literacy includes person's capacity to learn and interpret information. Nausea and vomiting in pregnancy is the most common medical condition in pregnancy first three months that can be stressful for pregnant women and the family. The important role of health literacy in understands the risks before birth by mothers. The objective of this study was determining the health literacy of women with nausea and vomiting in pregnancy. Methods:In a cross-sectional study, 100pregnant women who referred to treatment centers in Neishabur County in year 2015 were investigated using the short test of functional health literacy and modified-PUQE. After confirming the validity and reliability were used. Data were analyzed using SPSS software. Results: According to the findings, the age average of participants was25.80%, 81.7%of samples were housewife,21.7%below high school diploma,and47%had average income.45.8 %of subjects had inadequate literacy level,35.6%border health literacy and18.6%had enough health literacy. Health literacy had significant association with Chi-Square Tests with, mother’s education level and age (p<0.05). Pearson is showed also a significant association between health literacy and severity of nausea and vomiting (P<0.001).This study also indicated that thereafter the health staff (71.7%) were the most important reference for obtaining health information for the responders. Conclusion: The present study indicated that the limited health literacy. The may affect mothers' perception of risk and their desire to follow the recommendations pregnancy. So should considered health literacy especially in pregnant women with lower levels of education and severe nausea. Paper Type:Research Article.

Background and objective: Nowadays, recycling has attracted interest as an effective method in waste management. Teaching recycling to students is of great importance due to the important role this group plays in the participation of parents. This research dealt the effects of recycling educator students on operation of parents in the separation of waste. Methods: In this quasi-experimental study, a school as the experimental group and a school as the controls group were randomly selected. The parents of students selected, 100 Person (50 in the experimental group and 50 than the control group) participated in the study. After the needs assessment by researcher, a questionnaire was developed that included question on demographic, awareness, attitude, performance, and participation of the parents. One session of discussion with these parents was held to attract their cooperation with the students and also Educational program for students in the field of waste separation was performed. Then The effect of education on parents, one month and three months after intervention in both groups were assessed by questionnaire and data analyzed in spss16 with using descriptive and analytical statistics. Results: The results showed that, after the educational intervention, Separation of recyclable waste from non-recyclable, with 58%, was the highest scores. Also, after the intervention in the experimental group mean on awareness, attitude, performance, and participation of the parent’s changes were significant (P< 0.001). Conclusion: Findings of this research showed the positive effects of the students on their parents’ participation in recycling at source. Paper Type: Research Article.

Background and objective: Aging is a sensitive period of human life and attention to the problems and needs of this stage is a social necessity. Among the common problems in this period, insufficiency in their memory performance and lack of happiness due to lack of social activities .Therefore, the aim of current research is to evaluate the effectiveness of making and collection of family albums on autobiographical memory and happiness in elderly. Methods:The current study is a semi-experimental study with pre-test and post-test with group control. The population of study was old employees who are member of Retirement organization of Tehran Municipality during2015-2016. 30 older selected based on the inclusion criteria and they were randomly assigned to the control (n= 15) and experimental group (n=15).The experimental group received techniques of making and collection of family photo albums for 10 session (90 minutes,one session per week). The research instruments were Mini Mental State Examination(M.M.S.E),Oxford Happiness Inventory (OHI) and Autobiography Memory Interview (AMI). For Statistical analysis used analysis of covariance and data was analyzed by SPSS software 23 version. Results: The finding of the covariance analysis indicated that there is a significantly difference in scores of autobiographical memory among older adults in pre and post-test (p<0.001). Also, it was observed significantly difference between scores of happiness among older adults in pre and post-test (p<0.001). Conclusion: Making and collection of family albums have meaningful position effects on autobiographical memory and happiness in elderly. Hence, this method could be considered by psychologist in nursing homes and retirement centers, as a treatment approach to existing therapies. Paper Type:Research Article.
